In 2001, LUMS initiated its National Outreach Programme (NOP) to spread the advantages of world-class education to talented students across Pakistan, rendering it a truly national university.
This scholarship is for bright students who cannot afford to study in prestigious universities.
LUMS arranges summer coaching classes based on the results students are offered admission at LUMS with full financial aid.
All costs during summer coaching classes are paid by LUMS. Almost 1200 students to date have availed this opportunity.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Applicants must have 80% in Matric or O -levels.
- Applicants must be deserving.
Shortlisted candidates are invited to a coaching session where they are examined through different tests and the one with best result will be registered for LUMS test which is also completely paid by LUMS. The ones who qualified are offered admission.
HOW TO APPLY?
The one meeting all the criteria discussed above is eligible.
STEP 1 : APPLICATION PROCESS:
Fill out an online application form from https://nopscs.lums.edu.pk . Apply when you are in your first year of Intermediate or A-levels . Students who will be joining LUMS 2021 will be able to join LUMS in 2022.
STEP 2 : SUMMER COACHING CLASSES:
Selected Candidates will be invited to 2 weeks Summer Coaching Class. This session is arranged in Summer Vacations. LUMS bear every expense except transportation.
STEP 3: SAT REGISTRATION FEE:
Successful candidates SAT fee will be paid by LUMS.
STEP 4: LUMS ADMISSION FORM:
After these classes successful candidates need to fill their registration form . Qualifiers will be eligible for this scholarship.
SCHEDULE 2021:
- Coaching session application Deadlines : 16th March 2021
- Selection of Candidates for coaching classes : May – June
- Summer Coaching Classes starts from July 2021 and end on August 2021
- Selection of Candidates for undergraduate application : September – October
